Here's my official, just over 200 word book review for John MacArthur's "The Jesus You Can't Ignore." I was walking through it chapter by chapter, but it was such a chore to get through the book and I just needed to be done with it that I tore through the rest and produced the final summary.
Chapter three began with the presumption of the problem I discussed in chapter 2. Walking through John MacArthur's "The Jesus You Can't Ignore." Here I touch on issues in chapter 2.
I’ve received the book The Jesus You Can’t Ignore: What You Must Learn From the Bold Confrontations of Christ by John MacArthur to review. When I am done with the book (which, at the current rate, will be soon), I’ll provide a summary review. But, as I was going through the early part of the [...]
Walking through The Apocalypse, translating from the Greek as a continuing student of the language and the Scriptures, and bringing up points I find interesting and significant along the way.

Thursday afternoon, I was listening to Tuesday’s broadcast of Dr. Albert Mohler‘s radio program via podcast. I like to check out some of his shows because he always has relevant topics, presents his take on it, and interacts with callers and emailers with respect, intellect, and a genuine heart for not only truth but also [...]
In the first day of the class on Islam, I brought up the idea that Christianity is nonviolent. I was challenged with the story of Jesus cleansing the temple. Once again, this story was lofted to legendary heights, unknown even to the gospel writers, depicting a wrathful Jesus embodying the righteous violence that we disciples [...]
First in a series of quotations from the Qur'an as I prep each week for the Sunday morning Islam classes.
Walking through John H. Yoder's "The Politics of Jesus." In this first installment I'm covering the foundational points about those who misunderstood or outright rejected the nature of Jesus's kingship.
