How can a Christian teach and practice non-peace while at the same time presenting a Christ of peace? How can that ever exist?
The persecutors and executioners would press for them to convert or face death. Probably 99% of the time, a recantation or conversion garnered them freedom.Then you have quite the dilemma that I have to work through almost on a daily basis in my studies on Christian martyrdom and persecution. I enjoy expressing peace and nonviolent resistance however I can. Posters happen to be a historically popular way to express thoughts about peace. I have (and will continue to) put together some posters and other materials that can hopefully benefit you or someone you know.

It's not my job to coerce people to become Christians or even pacifists. That idea is at the very core of nonviolence. I'm not here to force you to be like me. That would be counterproductive. Like using military force to help people live in peace. Or using capital punishment to discourage people from killing each other. The way of force is not the way of Christ.
